Forgery detection for sick notes and medical documents
We detect: edited number of sick days · shifted visit, issue and leave dates · edited doctor name or licence number · adjusted lab values and diagnoses · pasted stamps. Sick notes, visit and discharge summaries, lab results and prescriptions.
What we check
- Number of sick days and incapacity period
- Visit date, issue date and start/end of the period
- Doctor name and licence number
- Lab values and reference ranges
- Added diagnoses and ICD codes
- Table layout of electronic medical record systems
Forgery types we detect
- 01
Extended sick leave
One digit changed — 1 to 4 or 7 — or the end date. The new digit breaks the font and the baseline.
- 02
Shifted dates
A sick note whose dates were moved to cover a different absence.
- 03
Adjusted lab values
A blood-test value or a diagnosis changed in a visit summary for a claim.
Medical documents
A sick note without a stamp — suspicious?
No. Most Israeli sick notes are issued digitally with only the doctor’s name and licence number. We never flag that as forgery.
What about medical privacy?
Documents are encrypted, visible only to you and deleted automatically. Medical documents are especially sensitive and handled accordingly.
Do you verify with the HMO?
No. We check the document itself; confirming with the issuer remains in your hands.
